Life is like a story and we are the writers of these stories in life. At the end of one's life, what kind of story would we have written? What would the content be like? Let me begin writing my own story, sharing bits and pieces of my life...

Spot the similarities
Picture sent by XF. Love this pic lots! It's Sidney and Monkie :P Notice the similarities? But one is in Basel and the other at home...

Slacker at Takashimaya
Went shopping, it's so good to get away from the weekend crowd :P I went to the gifts section of Takashimaya and a familiar face caught my attention immediately! It's Slacker! Went over and gave him a little squeeze. He's chubbier as compared to my Slacker at home but he still has got that same pair of silly eyes, big nose and round tummy :) I didn't know they are still selling Slacker :P

Rune Rune Rune!
Photograph sent by XF...15 July 2010, 2.03am. Miss squeezing this Swedish Moose and hugging him to sleep :P Didn't realise Rune has got a sweet smile too :)
I usually have two alarm set in the morning during the weekdays, well, nowadays I seem to have three, would receive occasional texts from XF in the wee hours of the morning, supposed to wake up and get ready for work. It's night time over in Basel and it's bedtime for her (kinda wish it's still bedtime for me when I receive those texts from her, wish I could just sleep a little longer, lazy piggy :P)

Bear hugz
He caught my attention today and without much hesitation, I bought it. Well, it's not for me though lest my mummy would nag about space for all my soft toys :P Gave him a big squeeze and a huge hug before he was being wrapped up to be given away as a gift. Hope that he will always bring warmth and lotsa smiles to others...Saturday, June 20, 2009
Freaky Purple
My sis has been kinda busy being her good friend’s bridesmaid and meeting up with friends and all since she came home, real active social animal these couple of days :P But glad there was time for family meals together. She’s flying back to Basel this weekend…that’s fast but glad she came back this June vacation. But well, Purple will be staying home this time :P Goodness, Sis really ate a big piece of cake from Awfully Chocolate last night! But heh, I must admit it's quite nice, awfully chocolate and banana! She got the one with banana in it :P
While working on this blog post, Angeline, my wonderful colleague and buddy, delivered some of my work stuff from our workplace to my place. Muack muack, love her!! Well, need to get out from denial soon and get started on some serious work this weekend. Hopefully, I am determined enough :P Finally get to see my black planner, kinda a bit hopeless without it at times, can’t depend much on my memory nowadays.

Sunny baby?
Bought this little soft toy at the airport in Bangkok, it just had a way of catching my attention, maybe of its resemblance of Sunny baby and its fur is so soft, just like Sunny’s. Hmm, it’s probably just that his eyes are different from those of Sunny’s, very different…you know, it just feels so good looking into Sunny baby’s endearing eyes : )Sunday, May 24, 2009
I'm sorry...Bobo
Dearest Bobo…I remember when I first saw you at the mall, I knew I gotta bring you home. That was like maybe 18 years ago. I decided to bring you home and I still remember I was hugging you in the public bus that I took home, so full of pride and joy that I got such a chubby and cute teddy bear! You were really huge and I was worried that I might fall in the bus while standing. Well, you had the chance to wear a few of my mini T-shirts, some still a bit too tight for you but you never complained. Frankly speaking, you looked better without any clothing, just your bare self :) That fateful day came when I was doing my spring cleaning in my room and my mummy was nagging about the number of soft toys that I had in my room. I did not know why I had made that silly decision to allow my mummy to bring you to the Salvation Army. Thinking back, I am still laden with guilt…you were always so huggable and would always sit quietly at the end of my bed. You were somebody…You are still in my heart…Hugz
