Sunny B's birthday...in July

I guess to Baby, every single day is considered his birthday as he continues to find little joys and happiness around him, especially in the presence of people close and familiar to him...Well, even for people who are not that close or unfamiliar to him, he will still treat them with much affection, lovely Baby...A great pleasure and joy to be able to celebrate your birthday with you every year, Baby :)

Amidst the blue, I met Baby

He was so very excited when I first stepped into the apartment. He must have known that I had missed him dearly. He must have also missed some company at home, jumping all over me and bringing his toy zebra to me. Ha, lovely Baby! He made my day, like he always does :)

Life lesson by Baby

Always so forgiving and understanding even though I could not remember when the last time I walked him was. Always so affectionate even though it's been quite some time since I gave him a big beary hug or held him in my arms. He has never been calculative and has never had any expectations of me. Thank you Baby for always reminding me that the loveliest gifts in the world can never be bought, the best things in life are not things and the rewards for the day can be simple yet joyful.

Without fail...Baby's birthday

His little treat on his special day!

Such a joy to see him enjoying his food :)

Gosh, it must have been almost a month ago...Sorry Baby, it took me so long to post this. I bet you didn't know it was your birthday then. Ha, you were too engrossed eyeing your chocolate birthday cake. Just thinking of you and hoping that all's well for you in a new environment. Muack!

Baby...my feelings

For those times that you licked away my tears...I felt understood
For those moments that you looked into my eyes...I felt embraced
For those minutes of silence when you sat comfortably on my lap...I felt a connection
For those playful and crazy moments that we have had...I felt like a child once again
For being you...I love ya lots

Have I ever told you that?

To me, it's difficult not falling in love with that pair of endearing eyes. They seem to have a way of bringing comfort to one's life and probably adding a little sunshine to each day. Have I ever told you that? Thank you Sunny baby...

Christmas dinner for Baby

Trying to cut those huge meatballs for Baby, with him eyeing the content in his dog dish...hmm, he seemed to enjoy lamb more than pork or beef.

He ate the whole piece of cake again! :)

Thank goodness Sunny Baby did not need to spend Christmas eve all alone at home, so happy he's able to join us all at Gean's place for our Christmas celebration :) Well, I believe that he needed a good Christmas dinner too. Bought him a little cake and eight meatballs. He seemed to be eating lots that night, hoped that he had not overstuffed himself :P Well, Baby dearie, I guess you wouldn't know that it's Christmas but sure hope that you have had a good time mingling with the rest, still thinking of you :) Thanks Mark for the pictures above :)

Hungry hungry Baby

Gee, I was so happy to be able to see Baby over the past weekend! Bought him mini lamb pizzas, bread bones, muffins and eclairs for his dinner :) Hmm...well, I am not really sure if little gifts and treats can make up for not spending time with him...I guess probably not. However, it's still great to see him wolfing down the food that I bought, his dog dish was licked clean :) Will be thinking of you, Baby...

A walk to remember

Going out with Sunny Baby is always something to look forward to and I bet getting out of the house is always something that Baby looks forward to too :) He seems to vie for attention more nowadays but he's still the same old silly Baby, well, that's probably what's so adorable about him. Ha, he's just got this silly look that one would instantly fall in love with. We took a walk at Bedok Reservoir Park in the late afternoon. I thought it's a nice quiet place. As I was walking Baby, met a golden retriever, Shower, who was walked by another lady. Oh my, Baby should learn how to say hello to his friends in a more friendly manner. He was barking at Shower and sniffing her all over. Well, that's probably Baby's way of saying hello. I know, I know, I am always defending Baby :P I enjoyed the second part of the walk the most, haha, coz maybe Baby was tired after much walking, I felt that I was really walking him and not the other way round :) I must say it was a good walk but maybe the next time I should be in my track shoes instead of flip flops and maybe I should make Baby walk a longer distance :P

The most beautiful thing today...

Baby's toy and cheerful companion...couldn't help but feel like getting a pic of that cheery face.

The most beautiful thing today was... Sunny Baby could not stop licking me when I carried him today. As usual, Silly Baby was jumping with much determination to probably get some undivided attention from me when I first opened the door. Placed him on my lap and ha, not sure if he did totally 'wipe off' all the foundation and powder on my chin and cheeks with all that licking :P But, well, I thought it was really sweet of him :) He sat on my lap for quite some time before heading to the door to take a look at his little world outside after hearing some noise along the corridor. At times, I just like to watch him sit near the door, enjoying his little world beyond that door...and ha, occasionally bringing his little toy to me, I guess wanting to play a little. As usual, hate to say goodbye...but thank you Baby for the most beautiful thing today :)

It's his special day...

For the past three years, if I am not wrong, I would ensure that I spent some time with Sunny baby every first of July. It's his birthday but I bet silly baby doesn't know. But it's okie, first of July is the day I wanna remind myself how glad and happy I am that this special dog was born and how thankful I am for those moments that he has brought joy and smiles to my life :) That Friday afternoon, I brought baby to meet Dino and Doni (my very good friend's dogs), thought maybe he could make some friends :P Well, they all met, Dino was really fierce and Doni (the tiny and timid one) was really fearful of Sunny baby. Ha, what a little 'gathering'! Ha, Guiyu also said that I was kinda too protective over Sunny baby, worried that he would eat some insects from the carpet grass, worried that he would fall into the pool, worried that he might get into some kinda trouble, worried about endless things. Haha, my very good friend seemed to be quite right as I thought about it. I was practically eyeing on him almost every minute that he was in that house, goodness :P ...But really enjoyed the time with baby, especially the car ride. Sometimes, he would look out of the window with much curiosity and excitement. At times, he would just lie comfortably in the front seat, seemed so relaxed, maybe soothing music had helped. Loved those few times that he would turn and look at me, seemed to wanna share with me something that he had seen...I smiled at him :) Dear baby, may your journey ahead be one that's always filled with curiosity, excitement, love and simple happiness, may all these be always seen in that pair of endearing eyes of yours and felt with every hug and cuddle that you receive...love ya!

Handsome baby!

The fur's gone! Ha, I think the grooming session has left baby kinda 'botak' but that charm in him certainly stays, especially the charm from that pair of endearing eyes :) Thanks Mark for the pic :)

Baby's dinner

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face. ~ Ben Williams

I couldn't agree more. Sunny Baby must had been real surprised that I visited this afternoon. As usual, he kept vying for my attention the moment I stepped in. Gave him a big squeeze and a few pecks on his nose. Hee, he started licking my chin continuously, er, my chin was kinda wet after that :P But it was really lovely and sweet of him. He simply made my day by being so affectionate and for being such a darling. At one point of time, he laid on his back on the sofa and I started tickling him all over. Ha, I think he loved it and played along by rolling from side to side on his back, stretching his furry limbs...he did not say anything or rather he could not say anything but my sixth sense told me that he longed for some company. I hope I made his day as much as he had made my day :) Spent some time with him at the balcony, as usual, he was curious. Got him some doggy eclairs and he had one in his dish bowl for dinner today. Guess what, the eclair was the first target he 'attacked', eclair was gone pretty soon. Surprisingly, hungry Baby finished the rest of his dinner in less than three minutes I think, faster than usual. I sat on the sofa and stretched out my arms, wanting to give him a cuddle. Haha, he thought I wanted to play, he went to his little toy basket and brought me a toy. Well, I guess it's play time after dinner :) ...Hmm, I think the most difficult part to me has always been saying goodbye. When I said "Bye bye" to him, he would gave me a look that if I looked into his eyes long enough, I think I would tear. I hated that silence when he stood near the door, so different when I first greeted him at the door when I stepped in. As usual, he would see me wave and the lift door open and then close...

Those quiet moments...

Sat him on my lap at the balcony, his concentration was totally on the little world outside

He's kinda like a teddy bear whenever his fur gets long, so huggable! ...He sat near the balcony, did he want out? Well, he fell asleep just right on the rug not long after :)

Looking into your eyes

A photograph taken by Mark with all his Apps 'tricks' :P

How could I miss out this lovely picture of Sunny Baby and look at that pair of eyes, they never fail to melt my heart...

Sweetie Baby

Baby, sorry it took me so long to give you that cuddle, that hug and that little peck on your nosey... Real happy to see you over the weekend :) You know, wanted to look for a new toy for you that day but came out of the pet store empty-handed. Well, you see, I was thinking, what's more important than spending time with you. What's the point of having a new toy but no one to play with...You are and will be in my thoughts :)

Messy Baby

I knew I had to get hold of this pic, thanks Mark :) ...Although they don't talk, their eyes speak much. In those moments that you look into their eyes, the comfort that's felt is probably much more soothing than what words could ever offer...Thinking of you lots, messy Baby...

P.S. Looking forward to seeing that sparkle in Bob's eyes too, get well real soon...
